Full Journal pdf2012-04-14 Senate Journal Page 2258 SB 122 Message dated April 13 was read stating the House passed and returned for consideration CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 122(L&C) "An Act relating to research on and examination of titles; relating to residency requirements for title insurance limited producers; relating to real estate transfer fees; and providing for an effective date" with the following amendment: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 122(L&C) Senator Meyer moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment. Senator French moved and asked unanimous consent to abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest. Objections were heard and Senator French was required to vote. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 122(L&C) Shall the Senate Concur in the House Amendment to CSSB 122(L&C)? Effective Date YEAS: 19 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 1 Yeas: Coghill, Davis, Dyson, Egan, Ellis, French, Giessel, Hoffman, Huggins, Kookesh, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Stedman, Stevens, Thomas, Wagoner, Wielechowski Absent: McGuire 2012-04-14 Senate Journal Page 2259 and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 122(L&C) "An Act relating to research on and examination of titles; relating to residency requirements for title insurance limited producers; relating to real estate transfer fees; and providing for an effective date." Senator Meyer moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on concurrence be considered the vote on the effective date clause. Without objection, it was so ordered. The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
